The Canterbury Earthquake has been a big shock to us all – for some in more than one way!

Along with all Kiwis living outside the ‘damage zone’ quantity surveyors sympathise with the Canterbury residents and business owners affected by damage from the ‘quake. We see that Cantabrians first opened BOTH eyes and got straight in to help the most needy first before now concerning themselves about their homes and buildings which need repair.

If you have significant work to be done and already have a scope of that work, make sure that you get the best advice if you want to increase the certainty of your expected project costs and, if justified, obtain costing advice and management throughout the project.

Quantity Surveyors will provide advice to clients, contractors, subcontractors, banks and insurers.

NZIQS ‘qualified members’ denoted by MNZIQS, ANZIQS, FNZIQS have gained these qualifications by being individually assessed and all members operate under a professional code of Practice and Professional Conduct. The award of Registered Quantity Surveyor (RegQS) to some members denotes that they are additionally maintaining a programme of continuing professional development for their specialised work and have additional work experience and a further peer assessment.
